System Administrator / IT Support Engineer

Description;

The System Administrator / IT Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of company’s IT infrastructure, end-user support, network management, and data protection
activities. The role combines system administration duties with hands-on helpdesk support, serving
as the primary technical contact for all non-SAP IT matters. The engineer operates within a hybrid
schedule — onsite three days per week and remote two days per week — and reports to the
Representative at Arythium Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
End-User and Helpdesk Support”
• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and
business applications including Office 365 and email, during business hours.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access provisioning in alignment with the company’s Identity and Access Management policies.
• Log, track, and resolve all incidents and service requests within defined SLA response and
resolution windows using the approved ticketing system.
• Deliver onsite support for critical incidents and scheduled preventive maintenance on
assigned onsite days, with remote support available on Tuesday and Thursday.

Infrastructure and Network Administration:
• Administer and monitor Windows and Linux servers including patching, performance tuning,
and system availability.
• Manage and monitor internet connectivity — Starlink as the primary ISP and
MTN as the backup and failover connection — ensuring seamless failover and uptime
continuity.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and coordinate with ISPs and vendors for resolution
within agreed SLA windows.
• Manage firewall configurations and secure VPN access.

Backup and Data Protection:
• Monitor daily on-premise server backup jobs and ensure successful completion.
• Execute periodic manual backups to external hard drives on a scheduled rotation basis.
• Conduct monthly restore verification exercises to confirm backup integrity and
recoverability.
• Provide basic data protection advisory to company’ stakeholders
