Description:
We are looking for a highly creative Short-Form Video Editor to join us on a fully remote contract basis. You will be responsible for creating high-impact, scroll-stopping videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who is strong in motion graphics and video animation, and can turn raw content into dynamic, engaging social-first videos.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Create motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects to elevate content
Transform raw footage into compelling, brand-aligned stories
Apply strong pacing, transitions, and visual rhythm to retain audience attention
Collaborate remotely with content/marketing teams on creative direction
Adapt content for platform trends, formats, and audience behavior
Deliver high-quality edits within deadlines while managing multiple projects
Must-Have Skills
Proven experience in short-form video editing for social platforms
Strong motion graphics and video animation skills (essential)
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
Ability to create engaging animated text, transitions, and effects
Strong storytelling instinct for fast-paced digital content
Portfolio showcasing motion-heavy short-form work
Nice to Have
Experience working with brands, agencies, or creators
Knowledge of social media trends and viral content structure
Sound design and audio syncing skills
Graphic design
