Description:.You’ll have an opportunity to:
Write ColdFusion, front-end JavaScript, and database structure (SQL Server) that gets used right away. You won’t spend weeks rolling out a few lines of code.
Build interesting things! You’ll be working on operations level software with input coming directly from the staff – and yourself.
Modernize the stack: beyond CF, you’ll help evaluate and pilot new technologies that can improve our deployment and development workflows.
Take an active role in project and business requirements planning. You’ll have a lot of say in the creative process.
Develop features within a well-defined, modern code architecture (no spaghetti)
Work independently alongside a great team on a flexible schedule, fully remote/no travel required
You’ll be:
Highly proficient with ColdFusion (2021+), JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server
Familiar with ColdSpring, FW/1, dependency injection, AOP, JSON, Python, service-oriented architecture
Comfortable working in an immersive JavaScript environment including client/server communication, controllers and separate namespaces.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently without a lot of moment-to-moment supervision
A proactive communicator
Good at getting up to speed with new systems and technologies
Innovation-minded: naturally curious about the “next step” in tech, with the ability to distinguish between high-value tools and passing hype.
Experienced with testing completed features and adhering to naming conventions and best practices
A nice person

ColdFusion: 5 years (Required)
