Responsibilities
Organize and maintain medical records in compliance with regulations
Input patient data accurately into electronic health record systems
Assist with the retrieval of medical records for healthcare providers
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information
Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner
Update and manage databases related to patient information
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve record-keeping processes
Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus
Proficiency in using computers and relevant software
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with confidentiality regulations (HIPAA) is preferred
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
