About Us
Block7 is a newly launched, innovative apartment rental app designed to completely revolutionize how people find their next home. Starting with our initial rollout in Owerri, we are building a seamless, scam-free ecosystem that connects verified real estate agents and landlords directly with apartment hunters. To aggressively scale our property inventory and user base, we are hiring a dynamic team of interns ready to learn the ropes of scaling a tech startup.

Open Positions (19 Total)
1. Agent/Guide Acquisition Specialists (VA Role) (5 Openings)
You are the driving force behind our app’s supply. Your goal is to get real estate agents to adopt Block7.

Compensation: Unpaid Base + Performance Commission (5% for 12 Months)

The Commission: For every real estate agent you successfully pitch and sign up to the platform, you will earn a 5% commission on anything that agent earns through Block7 for the next 12 months. The more active agents you onboard, the more passive income you build.

Responsibilities: Infiltrate and join local real estate Facebook groups, WhatsApp forums, and X communities.

Daily Task: Actively engage with agents posting available properties and pitch them on the benefits of listing their apartments directly on the Block7 app. You will guide them to download the app and publish their inventory.
2. Tenant Acquisition Specialists
(VA Role) (5 Openings)(commission available)
You are the driving force behind our app’s demand. Your goal is to get apartment hunters using Block7.

Responsibilities: Monitor university forums, city community pages, and social media threads where people are actively asking about accommodation or housing.

Daily Task: Make compelling, helpful posts and comments urging people who are actively looking for apartments to download the Block7 app for a safer, faster, and more reliable search experience.
3. Property Sourcing & Verification Interns (VA Role) (3 Openings)
Trust is our most critical currency. This team ensures the app has high-quality, legitimate inventory.

Compensation: Unpaid Base + Performance Commission (80% forever)

The Commission: For every time a customer pays for the property you listed on the platform, you will earn a 80% commission on anything that client pays through Block7 for the next 18 months. The more active agents you onboard, the more passive income you build.

Responsibilities: Scour digital platforms for “For Rent” posts, capture the details, and bring them in-house.

Daily Task: Verify the legitimacy of the listings and format the property descriptions, photos, and agent details so they look premium and professional before they go live on the Block7 platform.

4. Social Media Managers (VA) (4 Openings) (Unpaid)
You will manage the official voice of Block7, creating the content that our Acquisition Specialists will share.

Visual Content Creator (1): Focus on Instagram and TikTok. Curate the best apartment photos/videos from the app to create engaging property tours and “Apartment of the Week” reels.

Community Engagement (1): Focus on Facebook and X. Share links to new premium listings, share tips on safe renting, and manage our official brand reputation.
5. Project Manager (1 Opening) (Unpaid)
The operational bridge keeping the marketplace balanced.

Responsibilities: Oversee the daily workflow across all teams. Ensure the Acquisition teams are hitting their outreach quotas, the Verification team is processing listings quickly, and the official Social Media pages are active. Track and report our daily growth metrics (new agents onboarded, new properties listed).
6. Human Resources (HR) Intern (1 Opening)
The anchor for the team’s culture and operations.

Responsibilities: Manage onboarding for the 16 other interns, ensure everyone is logging their training hours, and mediate the team communication channels. You will also help document our growth strategies into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future hires.
