ITelegant Software Services Limited delivers advanced technology solutions to global enterprises while also building and supporting in-house ventures, including our upcoming food and beverage brand, Chai & Coffee / Coffee Day. Our teams work across multiple industries, giving interns exposure to real-world systems, data, and business challenges in a fast-growing environment.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced developers and data professionals, gaining hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and improving data-driven systems that support both client projects and internal initiatives.

What You’ll Be Working On

Data & Application Development

• Assist in creating and maintaining database structures such as tables, views, and basic queries
• Support the development and enhancement of data pipelines and integrations under guidance
• Help with reporting and analytics solutions by working with structured datasets
• Learn how enterprise data systems are designed to support business decision-making

System Support & Optimization

• Participate in identifying and resolving performance or data issues
• Learn best practices around data security, access control, and compliance
• Support efforts to improve system efficiency and scalability

Testing & Documentation

• Assist with testing developed features to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Help maintain technical notes, process documentation, and basic system diagrams

Collaboration & Learning

• Work alongside senior engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams
• Take part in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal discussions
• Contribute ideas and support innovation-driven projects, including work related to Chai & Coffee

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data, or a related field
• Basic understanding of databases and structured data concepts
• Familiarity with SQL and an interest in data-focused development
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server or similar database platforms
• Awareness of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Interest in data engineering, analytics, or backend systems
• Curiosity about how technology supports retail or food & beverage businesses
