Vito Solutions is partnering with an innovative technology company operating at the intersection of data science, biological research, and large-scale production systems.
They are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to help shape the architecture and technical direction of complex distributed platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving deep engineering challenges while guiding teams toward scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
Key requirements include:
* 10+ years of software engineering experience
* 3+ years operating at Lead / Principal / Architect level
* Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
* Proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, or Python
* Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems (microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native platforms)
* Ability to drive technical strategy while remaining hands-on
You’ll play a critical role in architectural decision-making, mentoring engineers, and contributing directly to the development of key systems.
Experience in high-availability environments, observability, DevOps practices, or Python/Django frameworks will be advantageous.
