Database Administrator

Description:

Manage and maintain production databases supporting payment processing, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting.

Manage and maintain the Core Banking Application and Ensure Trial Balance Correctness as well as all Financial Reporting
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for transaction databases.
Implement strong data security controls including encryption at rest and in transit, access control, and auditing.
Monitor database performance, latency, and transaction throughput; optimize for peak payment loads.
Design and enforce data retention, archival, and purging policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
Support database migrations, schema changes, and zero-downtime deployments.
Collaborate with engineering teams on data modeling for ledgers, transactions, and audit trails.
Support compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, data protection regulations)
